Hazel Bank Country House is located in the heart of the Lake District just outside of Rosthwaite in Cumbria. Our location is ideal if you would like to leave your car at the house whilst walking the Lakes.

Your walks can start right from our doors, as there is a footpath from the bottom of the garden leading to Stonethwaite and Grasmere in one direction, and Watendlath in the other.

From there, you can embark on one of the many walks in the area, which range from scenic strolls to challenging climbs.

There is a bus that stops 200 yards away from the house which will take you to Keswick market town or further into the Borrowdale Valley for walking the big mountains. There is also a boat service which navigates nearby Derwent Water.
